Dermoscopy Two Step Algorithm is an iPhone application designed to assist in interpreting dermoscopic patterns observed with a dermatoscope. Featuring over 80 photos and charts, this app guides users through a series of questions to reach a probable diagnosis. With no need for an internet connection, it offers quick access to images and information. The app includes 50 interactive cases, each presenting clinical and dermoscopic images and concluding with labeled dermoscopic images highlighting critical structures.
Based on the 2-step algorithm, this app aids in differentiating melanocytic from non-melanocytic lesions, identifying common benign lesions, and assessing lesions for basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma suspicion.
